Your business is likely to have changed dramatically over the last 2-3 years – as the transport, logistics and supply chain business becomes increasingly digital – with AI and Blockchain the newest kids on the block in what seems to be a never-ending process of technological innovation. Whilst much of this won't ever remove the importance of people doing business with people – it is clear that our industry is on the cusp of major technological transformation

As the industry changes, so Multimodal must change with it – and we at Clarion Events have been investing heavily in new IT architecture to make us fully equipped for this digital age.

We have invested in new CRM systems, finance and marketing platforms. Our new suite of products will all “talk” to each other, meaning that we are perfectly placed to leverage this digital future. Our architecture includes:-

  • Pardot – Marketing platform
  • Salesforce – CRM
  • Zerista – App/Meeting software
  • Site Factory - Web Hosting platform
  • Workday – Finance and HR

All of the above will be optimised to dovetail into our registration systems and all the usual social platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc.

This will become especially important as new GDPR regulations make the job of old-fashioned data-building otiose.

To reflect these changes – Multimodal and our branding will be getting a subtle make-over which will be rolled out over the year as these new platforms also get rolled out. The up-dating and modernising of our branding and iconography will reflect the changes that you are no doubt experiencing in your businesses, as we are in ours.

We will also be broadening the range of trade associations that we deal with as part of this transformation – to make sure that our new messaging is more widely disseminated, and more visitors attracted. of course - our cutting-edge content will remain a feature of the event!

Lastly, we are also strengthening our sales and marketing teams and welcome back Jonathan Wright as our New Business Development Director. Jonathan’s role will be to drive suppliers from these new sectors into the show – as well as ensuring that the show is better represented from among the more traditional industries in the show.

Multimodal 2019 will prove to be a landmark event. New branding, up-graded digital and traditional content-rich marketing across all platforms, greater exhibitor engagement and more high quality visitors. All this as well as a popular new June time-line! We look forward to working with you…
